Vado. Ciao. Ettore / is a 30pp short comic about Ettore Sottsass Jr. andf his relationship with Milan, following his days in the city through his books, interviews and diaries, made for Materia Degenere 3.
Materia Degenere is a biennal publication by Diablo Edizioni every issue focus on an important Italian comic artist: this third issue tributes Baolo Bacilieri.
MD3 features original short stories by Claudia Bumbica, Maria Giulia Chistolini, Giorgia Rachel Donnan, Giulia Ratti and me. Our editor,
Matteo Contin, selected six important works by Bacilieri, one for comic artist, to be recalled as we preferred.
We were then asked to set every short story in Milan - as Bacilieri’s body of work ofter recalls the city.
I choose Brera, ofted recalled by Sottsass himself.

The book is split into nine chapters,each aimed at investigating the woman's body - including stereotypes and perception, from eyes to dreams, from mouth to the whole idea of femininity. I was asked to write a short story about woman’s instinct.

MARAMAO PERCHÈ SEI MORTO / Double page tribute to Maramao perchè sei morto, an italian popular song with ancient origins. Often related with politics, it became a pop hit during the 30s thanks to Trio Lescano, and in recent decades it has established itself as a popular children song.
Maramao, why are you dead? You had salad in the garden, And a home, and wine and bread!
